Find and Merge Duplicate Clients

Duplicate client records usually happen after importing data from BodyView, or when the same person was created twice. BodyMetrix finds records with the same first and last name and helps you merge them. This works in both BodyMetrix Software Pro and YSC.

During a BodyView migration
When you migrate from BodyView in the Setup Wizard, the Duplicates step automatically reviews any duplicate clients it finds before you finish setup. See Migrate Your Data from BodyView to BodyMetrix Software.

Any time after setup

1. Back up first. Click Back Up Now under Automatic Backups, or export a backup. See Set Up Automatic Backups.
2. Open BodyMetrix and click Setup.
3. Enter your 6-digit PIN.
4. On the Setup & Migration page, scroll to Profile Management.
5. Click Identify Duplicates...
6. For each set of possible duplicates, choose the record to keep.
7. Confirm the merge.

Before you merge
Two different people can share the same name. Check details such as date of birth and measurement history before merging records.

YSC: official assessments
For athletes whose official assessments are submitted to Track Wrestling, Track Wrestling is the sole source of truth. Don't merge those athletes in BodyMetrix. Correct the duplicate in Track Wrestling, then click Sync Track Wrestling Roster in BodyMetrix to refresh your roster. See BodyMetrix Software YSC: Connect Track Wrestling and Import Your Team.
