Change Language, Units, and Practice Details

Switch the display language, set measurement units, and put your practice name and logo on client reports.

All three settings live in Setup > Preferences.

Change the display language

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences > Language.
  2. Choose English, Español, Português, Français, Italiano, or Deutsch.

The change applies immediately and is saved for this computer. Client reports are generated in the language BodyMetrix is currently set to.

Changing the language never changes your stored data. Client records, measurements, exports, and CSV files keep their original values.

New installations start in your computer’s operating system language when it’s one of the six supported languages.

Change measurement units
Your default units (imperial or metric) are set from your registration Country during first-time setup. To change them:

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences.
  2. Under Units, choose imperial (inches, pounds) or metric (centimeters, kilograms).

You can also set units for an individual client from their profile.

Measurement history converts with the setting. For example, a waist recorded as 34 in shows as 86.4 cm after switching to metric. Waist goals convert the same way.

Seeing “Circumference unit check on upgrade”? This one-time note on a client’s profile means some of their recorded circumference values didn’t look like the profile’s unit. Take a quick look at that client’s circumference history. If anything looks about 2.5 times too large or too small, contact Support.

Add your practice details to client reports (BodyMetrix Software Pro)

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences > Provider & practice.
  2. Enter your practice name and contact details, and upload your logo.

They appear in the header of every client report you generate.
